U16's v Aberystwyth
14 September 08
Fishguard & Goodwick 12 - Aberystwyth 31
Aber' tore into the Seagulls from the first whistle and gained the upper hand by crossing for two early scores. This spurred the home side on and they quickly regained their composure to put Aber' on the back foot. They continued to battle hard and despite closing the gap and securing good periods of possession and field position never got close enough to really threaten the lead. Despite a disappointing start in terms of the result the Seagulls players and can take a lot of positives from their performance in particular the way they played as a team and maintained an excellent level of discipline.
Try scorers for the Seagulls were Rhys Morgan and James Griffiths with the latter also slotting a conversion.
