Crymych 53 - Fishguard & Goodwick 0
The Seagulls travelled to Crymych last Sunday to fulfil what was always going to
be a tough fixture against one of the strongest sides in the league and despite
a very heavy pitch Crymych produced some skilful attacking rugby. The Seagulls
competed for some isolated short spells of the game but overall their ball
retention was poor allowing Crymych to turn over ball too easily. The Seagulls
backline, weakened owing to injury and illness was stretched time and time again
and powerful Crymych attacking coupled with weak tackling resulted in tries
being scored far too easily. The Seagulls will need to dig deep for their
remaining fixtures to ensure that the progress made before Christmas is not
wasted.
