Neyland RFC Tournament. Seagulls Under 10's Tournament Runners Up.

WELL DONE

With only ten players to every other teams twelve Fishguard & Goodwick were always up against it. The first game was against Whitland who they had never beaten, but a breakaway try early on was enough for a victory this time, next up was Narbeth who put us out at the semi finals last year, the game was very tight and 1-1 was a fair score, Haverfordwest were next, they had beaten us 5-3 earlier in the season and were well drilled, clinical and eased away to a 5-0 victory, the last group match was against Cardigan which was also tight and ended in another draw which was enough to get into the semi finals against the winners of the other group. The home team Neyland were the semi final opponents and with a nerve wracking 1 try a piece the game went into golden try which Fishguard & Goodwick were on the wrong end of last season, but after missing out last time the Seagulls were fortunate to get a try.

The short break before the final was not enough and with only 10 players they had played out of their skins and the final was a foregone conclusion with Fishguard & Goodwick out on their feet and lost 5-0 to Haverfordwest in the final.
