Fishguard Carnival 2007

During the Fishguard carnival , some 'fun' SAQ (Speed , Agility and Quickness) sessions were held on the lower carnival field under the supervision of Mathew and Lynne Harries . The systems employed included 'quick feet' in ladders , power jumps over hurdles and side steps between poles. In total over 50 children (girls and boys) took part with a few adults also competing against their 'siblings' (in particular Donna Butler who posted a scintilllating 25.13 second run in the over 30s competition!).

The fastest times posted were as follows:

under 10 - Robbie Jones (19.04secs) , good performances also from Ben Leahy , Kyle Davies and Adam Butler.

10-13 - Dan Griffiths (17.88secs) , solid perfomances from Lee Jenkins and Stefan Lewis

14 plus - Kennedy Tsang (17.01secs) , quick times also posted by Owain Morgans and Rhys Lewis.

Visitors from Surrey , Shrewsbury , Newcastle and Cardiff also compteted in the SAQ workouts , some of whom were leading up to the last few sessions .
