Welsh Squad In Fishguard
The Welsh squad travelled through Fishguard today 12th May 08 arriving back form a short break in Ireland where they had been training. A few dedicated junior players went down to Fishguard harbour to see if they could get to see some of their rugby idols. The squad were happy to pose for photos and sign autographs.
JUST TO CLEAR UP ANY CONFUSION FISHGUARD & GOODWICK RFC DID NOT ORGANISE A VISIT FOR ANY OF THE JUNIOR PLAYERS. ALL PLAYERS THAT ATTENDED FOUND OUT OF THE VISIT FROM THEIR OWN MEANS. THE CLUB CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY JUNIOR PLAYER THAT WAS NOT THERE.
Seagulls players Adam Butler U9's, Mark Butler U12's & Steffan Lewis U12's met Warren Gatland. TBC if any future playing contracts were signed by them!!!!
