Mini Presentation Night

MINI’S PRESENTATION NIGHT

The Minis end of season presentation night was held on Friday 27th April at Fishguard & Goodwick RFC and were honoured to have Wales and Scarlet’s Scrum half Dwayne Peel to present the awards. Dwayne presented the trophies and afterwards mixed with the young seagulls players chatting about rugby and signing many autographs from rugby balls to the many fans wearing Scarlets rugby tops. He presented to the players two photographs all signed by the Scarlets squad which will take pride of place in the Club. Each player was awarded a trophy for their contribution and dedication to the seasons rugby. All three teams from the minis have had a busy season with the Under 8’s playing 12 matches, 2 tournaments and trips to Stradey Park. The Under 9’s have had an outstanding season with 15 matches and 2 tournaments. They have only lost 1 matrix game and drawn in one other and should be very proud of themselves. The Under 11’s have played 11 matches, 2 tournaments, 1 cup game and a trip to Stradey park. Both the Under 8’s and 11’s have played in a half time game of rugby on Stradey Park. All in all they have had a very busy season and thanks must go to all the coaches Aide, Dave, Rocket, Tracey, Emyr & Judith for their hard work and dedication to Donna for arranging all the fixtures, all parents for transport and helping afterwards back in the club with the food. Also to the County Echo who have published match reports and photos every week making the paper excellent value for money!!

Congratulaions to all players this season and we are all looking forward to the new 2007 -2008 season.
