Fishguard and Goodwick moved smoothly into second spot in the section table as they beat an experienced Cefneithin side at The Moors and gained revenge for their only previous defeat of the season so far when they lost 15-6 at Cefneithin.
The Seagulls had an excellent first-half try by full back Rhodri Thomas, following a break by outside half James Griffiths, who added the extra points as skipper Mark George led by example up front alongside Gwilym Evans, Chris Sousha and Richard Hunter.
But Cefneithin showed their mettle as they scored an interception try by centre Nathan Davies and a penalty from outside half Owain Lewis to edge into an 8-7 interval lead.
Whatever coaches Randall Williams and Huw Evans said at the break it certainly worked because although the battle was as intense as before it was Fishguard who scored another 11 points whilst keeping preventing any points for Cefneithin.
